Mick Jagger reveals details of 'Best Of' collectionMick Jagger has announced he will release his very first career-spanning retrospective this autumn.
'The Very Best Of Mick Jagger' is due out in the US on October 2 and features 17 tracks spanning The Rolling Stones frontman's solo career from 1970 onward.
The album includes duets with the likes of Bono, David Bowie and reggae legend Peter Tosh, among others.
It also features three previously unreleased tracks, including 'Too Many Cooks (Spoil The Soup)', which was produced by John Lennon and recorded in 1973 in Los Angeles. The other two tracks are demos from Jagger's Wandering Spirit session with famed producer Rick Rubin.
"For me, it's a great thing to listen to since all the songs speak to a certain time and make things come alive for me," Jagger said in a statement. Placebo join Projekt Revolution line-up
Placebo have been added to the Projekt Revolution tour line-up, kicking off in July.
The trio will join My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Taking Back Sunday and H.I.M on the tour, which will run through September 3.
The tour was created by Linkin Park as part of their 'Music For Relief' programme which helps aid victims of world catastrophes and combat global warming.
Personally selected by Linkin Park, the bands follow previous Projekt Revolution acts including Korn, Snoop Dogg and Cypress Hill.
Meanwhile, Linkin Park are gearing up for the release of their third album 'Minutes to Midnight' which will be released tomorrow (May 15)
